If you installed Dolphin 7.1 you may have remembered that it asked you what you want to use for your Site Email and Site Title. If you forgot what you entered or if you just want to change these you can do this very fast and easy in the Dolphin 7.1 Administration Dashboard.
To do so simply login to the Administration and navigate to:
Settings
-Basic Settings
Near the top of the page you should see:
Site Email:
Site Title:
Email to send site's mail from:
Change these as you see fit.
If you happen to be changing the Site Title you might consider clearing the Template Cache after doing so just to make sure the changes are fully updated.
To do so go to:
Tools
-Cache
Under the Clear Cache area click the "Templates" link and that's it.
If you are changing either or both of the Email addresses you might consider clearing the database cache since these are stored in the database itself.
To do so go to:
Tools
-Cache
Under the Clear Cache area click the "DB" link and that's it.
Additional:
Consider using an email @ yourdomain . com for the Site Email and Email to send site's mail from if possible. Many people have problems using a gmail and other email providers in these fields. What can happen is when your website sends mail to someone their email provider will see that it didn't come from yourdomain . com. It came from somewhere else. A lot of providers will end up putting it in a junk/spam box and they could be blocked or tossed out completely depending on the email service provider.
If you experience something similar try using an email address such as you @ yoursite . com instead in the Site Email and Email to send site's mail from. Especially the Email to send site's mail from field.
