First of all why would you want to disable Dolphin 7 cache feature? It can be helpful if you intend to change or edit files. If you edit files and after refreshing a page wonder why you do not see the changes you made it is most likely because Dolphin is displaying a cached version.
You can clear the cache in your Dolphin 7 Admin panel after each change, but if you are making a lot of changes this starts to become time-consuming and a hassle.
You can simply turn off or disable the caching features in your admin panel while you work on your site so you can see the changes without the need to clear it each time.
First login to your Admin panel and navigate to Advanced Settings.
Find the Other category and uncheck:
Enable caching system to store profiles information
Enable DB Cache
Enable page blocks cache
Then, scroll down a little further to the Template category and uncheck:
Enable cache for HTML files
Enable cache for CSS files
Enable cache for JS files
Enable compression for JS/CSS files(cache should be enabled)
Be sure to click the Save button to update the changes.
After applying the changes above, you will need to navigate back to your Admin Dashboard Home/Main page and Clear the Cache.
You can also verify that the cache directories have been cleared with an ftp client.
The following directories will no longer have any files with the exception of a .htaccess file in /cache.
Once you have finished editing and changing files you can turn the cache back on by rechecking and enabling the cache feature.
