Random members vs Latest

For some reason, I set the Members section to Random instead of Latest, the members section show latest members, is there any way to get it to show random, other than the setting in admin panel? That is not doing anything.

I have random members on my home page here. Each time you come back to the home page or refresh the page they change to a random member picture. Only drawback is that when you have a lot of members with no profile picture you get a lot of plain old generic/no profile pictures.

Anyway I changed this from latest to random in /templates/base/scripts/BxBaseIndex.php

Find the function:
function getBlockCode_Members()

Then scroll down a little more and find:

if ( $_GET['members_mode'] == 'online' or
$_GET['members_mode'] == 'rand' or
$_GET['members_mode'] == 'last' or
$_GET['members_mode'] == 'top' )
$mode = $_GET['members_mode'];
else
$mode = 'last';


Just change:
$mode = 'last';

To:
$mode = 'rand';

Like so:
if ( $_GET['members_mode'] == 'online' or
$_GET['members_mode'] == 'rand' or
$_GET['members_mode'] == 'last' or
$_GET['members_mode'] == 'top' )
$mode = $_GET['members_mode'];
else
$mode = 'rand';

Perfect! I just changed the default to rand instead of last and it worked exactly.
