Invite a Friend not working

Has anyone had trouble with this feature? I have my site set to send a confirmation email when people join, which works fine, but when I try to use the invite friend feature the email never arrives. The tool says the email was sent succesfully and I've tried multiple email addresses but no luck. Any ideas?

Have you checked your junk box or filter/filter settings?

Most of the mail I receive in my normal inbox, however this one usually tends to land in my junk box when using a hotmail account.

I would check junk boxes first. Hotmail is famous for this or for blocking it completely. Yahoo and gmail tend to do a better job. Maybe you have already. If you tried several boxes like you mentioned go back and see if any landed in there.
