It appears as though we will see a Boonex Dolphin 7.0.7 in the near future. Based on what I see at the time of this posting at Boonex Trac:
Boonex Trac Roadmap
Milestone Dolphin 7.0.7
So far there are only a few tickets listed and it seems to imply there will be mostly bugfixes.
I know a lot of people do not like frequent upgrades especially if they have a lot of modifications because generally you will need to reapply them.
If you do not have any modifications it is usually a fairly quick process to upgrade.
It is nice to see Boonex continue developing and update the current Dolphin 7.0.x version rather than just dropping it and moving on to Dolphin 7.1.x.
Upgrading might be considered a hassle by some, but it would be nice to see Boonex polish and make the current 7.0.x shine.
In the past with previous versions of Dolphin at some point Boonex kind of just through in the towel and called it quits in favor of the new version. They had a tendency to leave a number of bugs unfixed and jump right into the newer version.
At this point who really knows how many Dolphin 7.0.x versions we will see. It is apparent that there should be at least one more.
