Windows 7 $30 for students with .edu address
Windows 7 $30 for students with .edu address
947 days ago Categories: Microsoft

I came across an interesting article about getting an upgrade to Windows 7 for only $30. There is a bit of a catch. As far as I can tell it's only available to U.S. and U.K. residents that are in college. You must have a .edu email address.

Since I am not in college with a .edu email address I am unable to check this out any further. But everything seems legit. Read the terms of service, and they are pretty simple and self-explanatory.

So if you are in college in the U.S. or U.K. with a .edu email address through your school you might have a look into this. It's not every day you get an offer like this for only $30.

Upgrade choices are:

1.   Microsoft® Windows 7 Home Premium

OR

2.   Microsoft® Windows 7 Professional

(That's something like a $120 to $200 value for only $30.)

Offer expires: 11:59AM Central Standard Time on January 3rd, 2010

Since I am not in college I cannot take advantage or provide any further details. I just thought I'd pass this along and maybe someone out there could take advantage of this.
