The past month or so I have reduced my tutorial writing/posting frequency so I could spend more time with family and friends over the summer. I haven't had the chance to get out and enjoy summer time in years, and I didn't want another one to pass by the same way.
I also wanted to work a little more on dAMP (Dolphin, Apache, MySql, PHP). If you are not familiar with it you can read more about it here on the main page:
Or the most recent blog post about it here:
dAMP 3.1.0 New Features, Better Performance, and More!
Back when I started working on an update I originally thought it would be just a few minor adjustments, but one thing led to another and I kept adding more and more. Week after week I continue and still do add to it. Just when I think that's it I am going to leave it the way it is I get another idea, which involves even more hours of work to finish.
It is coming along, and I should have a nice new update with a lot more user-friendly features available before the end of the year. Most likely the end of October to early December at the latest so look for it in the coming months.
The programing part is almost done, but I need to do a lot of testing yet. That assuming I don't come up with another idea that requires more work.
I am hoping to get more Dolphin tutorials posted too, but it will be a little while yet. I would like to get the vast majority of the dAMP programming part done first.
In the meantime there are still plenty of tutorials available for Dolphin 6.1.x, 7.0.x, and 7.1.x here on DialMe.com. Not to mention a lot of webmaster resources, SEO, and other technology related tips and resources. Look around in your spare time you never know what you might find. Some of it goes all the way back to 2008.
