Best Buy's Whoops Not Quite $9.99 Flat Screen TV

Not sure if anyone read anything about Best Buy mistakenly posting a 52 inch Samsung flat screen TV on their web site. The original price was $3,399.99 and was supposed to be available on their web site for $1,799.99. Apparently there was an error and the TV was posted on Best Buy's web site for only $9.99.

Once word got out thanks to the internet and popular sites like Twitter, people rushed to the site and quickly purchased the TV. It didn't take long to realize that a mistake had been made and Best Buy said it will not honor the $9.99 sale price.

It didn't take much longer for the complaints to roll in from people hoping to take advantage of this unbelievable deal either. Many were outraged that Best Buy wouldn't honor the deal.

Sure it would be nice to get a 52 inch flat screen TV for $9.99, but I can't believe customers thought they would really get it for that price. They had to have known there was a good chance that it was a mistake, and they probably wouldn't get the deal.

A simple case of if it sounds too good to be true...it is too good to be true!
